JONAH, an independent young boy, is one of the only survivors of the deadly outbreak that has turned every adult into a slavering monster. He has managed to hook up with a group of other young survivors, including WENDY, a more mature teenager who manages to keep her gang alive by securing a farmhouse and making daily raids of the area for food and ammunition.

When out foraging, Jonah comes across another group of kids, led by the enigmatic but ruthless boy soldier, PETE, and Jonah is not experienced enough to determine if they are friend or foe. A power struggle mounts between Pete and Wendy which begins to tear at Jonah and the rest of the kids. Can these kids put their differences aside in order to survive the harsh, post-apocalyptic environment – or will they become their own worst enemies? The adults are all dead – either infected or killed, and the kids are left to fend for themselves.
